Using TopOCR's Auto-Translate Mode
With just a single click, TopOCR's Auto-Translate mode enables you to take a picture of a document written in one language and instantly translate it into another language. TopOCR can read, translate, and speak in any combination of the following eleven languages: (English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish).
TopOCR's Auto-Translate is built using the Microsoft Bing Translator API. You can sign-up for a free Microsoft Bing Translator account which allows you to translate up to 2,000,000 characters per month. To sign-up you need to create your account here.
Once you've created your account, simply click on the Translate->Translation Settings in the text windows and copy/paste the Bing Key and Bing User ID strings into the Dialog Box (shown above). You will also need to set the Translate To language setting, as well as whether you want the translated text to only be copied into the text editor, or also spoken aloud. Once you've initialized the Translation Dialog, whenever you want to enable Auto-Translation of your scanned document images, simply toggle the Translate->Auto Translate menu in the Text Window. Then whenever you use the OCR function, the text output will be automatically translated.
