To activate TopOCR's SAPI based Text To Speech System, simply click on the Speech menu item on the top of TopOCR's Text Window.
The Text To Speech dialog has 4 buttons and a status window for feedback.
In addition there are controls for selecting the voice, volume, voice quality and voice rate.
The language used for the Text To Speech voice is based on the OCR language setting.
Push the Speak button to begin hearing the text in the Text Window.
As each word is spoken aloud, it will be highlighted in the text box.
Press the Pause button to pause speaking, you can press it again to resume speaking.
Press the Stop to completely stop speaking.
Save to .wav
Save the OCR text output as a .wav audio file. This will display the .wav file save dialog, for you to select a directory and file name.
Launches the MP3 encoder dialog.
This process proceeds in two steps.
The first step is to internally convert the speech output into a .wav file, and the second step is to launch the MP3 encoder dialog.
Words Saved to .WAV file
Will display the number of words converted to .wav file audio.
Vary the speed of the Text To Speech Voice.
Select the audio quality.
change the volume of the Text To Speech Voice
